Design by Cora Aufdemkamp - Political Posters for Diversity

In our 5th Semester at the Macromedia University, we had the task to create something with a political background - not an easy challenge to be honest! A friend of mine and I decided that we wanted to do something for diversity. She had the great idea, that we could use old Nazi Posters and transform their original national socialistic message into one for diversity. We know, that this is a very provocative idea but it raises awareness and that is important!

We chose four posters in total.

We changed the slogans on the posters from pro-Nazi into pro-Diversity. Also we cut the people from the posters, changed them from their normal look into into a light blue tone and put them in front of a screamingly colorful background. Below you can see the original posters on the left and our edited versions on the right.

To give a more realistic impression, of how the posters would work in real life, we also prepared some mockups.

We really tried to make it look like a whole poster series but honestly one of them sticks out a bit... but have a look for yourself.
